Welcome to the Masterminds

About Us

The Teutizoku Mastermind Group is a unique and vibrant community of international business professionals who are passionate about harnessing the power of collective creativity, innovative thinking, and meaningful connections. We’re dedicated to helping each other grow both personally and professionally while nurturing genuine friendships along the way.

What makes our mastermind group unique is that we provide a supportive environment for individuals seeking to become fluent in both English and Spanish. Unlike traditional language learning environments, our group fosters authentic and dynamic interactions where members can apply their language skills in professional contexts. Through discussions and collaborations on various subjects, members not only enhance their linguistic proficiency but also gain cultural insights and forge lasting friendships.

Group Goals

Eligibility

SPECIFIC GOALS: Members should have clear, specific personal or professional goals they want to work on during their membership. Goals should align with the focus of the group.

DIVERSITY: We value diversity in terms of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to promote varied insights and ideas. We encourage professionals across North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to apply. We prioritize applicants in international business, including, but not limited to, international trade, manufacturing, agriculture, import/export, procurement, corporate law, etc.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: We aim to help our members become fluent in both English and Spanish. To achieve this, we require members to be native speakers of one language (L1) and at an intermediate or advanced level in the other (L2). Don’t worry if your L2 isn’t perfect! This is a safe space where mistakes are celebrated as learning opportunities.

MONTHLY VIRTUAL MEETINGS: We hold virtual meetings on the second Thursday of each month from 8:00 PM to 9:35 PM Eastern Time. Members must commit to attending group meetings regularly and notifying the group in advance if unable to attend. The first 45 minutes will be conducted in Spanish, we’ll have a 5 minute break, and then the second 45 minutes will be conducted in English.

BIENNIAL IN-PERSON RETREATS: Every other year, we organize an exciting international retreat in a different English/Spanish-speaking country, offering a unique opportunity for cultural immersion, language practice, and in-person connection and collaboration.

RESPECT & COURTESY: Members should treat each other with respect, courtesy, and professionalism, even when there are differing opinions.

POSITIVE ATTITUDE: Maintain a positive and growth-oriented attitude towards personal and professional development.

PAYMENT OF FEES: Members should be willing and able to pay them in a timely manner.

Membership Fee

Charging a membership fee serves a crucial purpose within the group. It plays a pivotal role in fostering a sense of commitment and value among our members. When individuals invest in their membership, they are more likely to take their participation seriously.

It also enables Teutizoku to invest in resources, guest speakers, attracting and onboarding top-tier professionals, and other elements that enrich the mastermind experience, ensuring that members receive exceptional value in return for their investment.

Our mastermind group offers a negotiable membership fee to accommodate the diverse backgrounds of our members, who come from various industries and countries. We believe in fostering inclusivity and ensuring that our group remains accessible to those who are a good fit.

Do you use Spanish/English (L2) for your job and work for an employer that has a budget for employee development? Upon request, Teutizoku can provide a letter template that can be used to explain and seek employer support for the Masterminds membership fee.

Ready to Join?

We believe that every member is a vital piece of our mastermind group puzzle. To ensure that we maintain a harmonious community, we invite potential members to submit an application. This application allows us to get to know you better, understand your goals, and assess if there’s a good fit with our group. Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll reach out to schedule an informal video interview. Be on the lookout for an email from Katie Jenkins katie@teutizoku.com. The interview is an opportunity for us to delve deeper into your aspirations, expectations, and what you hope to contribute to our collective growth. We look forward to getting to know you and exploring how you can be an integral part of our dynamic and supportive community.
